Cola Salva Cruz (b. 1999) is a visual artist from Metro Manila. Through mixed media and experimental animation, he builds worlds of textural feasts where tall tales of the fantastical and comical are told. Influenced by eclectic sources of inspiration such as old National Geographic Magazines, childhood media, and medieval fantasy, he conjures alternate ways of presenting the ordinary with clarity while visual trickery and grit work behind the curtain.
