Gab Rosique (b. 2004) grew up around rice fields in a small town in Davao del Norte, Philippines. Now, he attends the University of the Philippines Diliman as a film student. His film Hinimo ka gikan sa Yuta, ug sa Yuta ka pauli, carries his sensibility to draw attention to the relationship between spaces and people. It premiered at the Ngilnging Asian Fantastic Film Festival (2024), garnered awards at Sinedisipulo (2025), Sinepiyu (2025), and Ika-37 Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video.

He wants to continue to understand the reciprocal shaping of places and people through his filmmaking.
