Arabella Paner

Arabella Paner works between photography and text, exploring the intimacy of looking—a practice shaped by possibilities of both error and chance.

Her work moves through memory, care, intimacy, grief, and transformation—often rooted in personal histories and the quiet rituals of daily life. With a background shaped by caregiving and emotional survival, her practice serves as a tender archive of the body, healing, and the invisible acts of devotion that carry us forward.

She is interested in the poetics of care, the politics of softness, and the unseen labor of emotional endurance. Her ongoing long-term project, I thought I saw a falling star softly land on my shoulder, navigates the layered terrain of motherhood, loss, and the delicate interplay between life and decay.
